• to establish protocols in LOTF writing groups
• to consider Golding's relationship to his characters and
• to discuss how and why characters act the way they do

5) Brainstorm the characters in the novel

6) Select one character from the novel to write the paper on

7) Summarizer: Writing a group essay: what are you excited/anxious about?
