- to share personal writing and provide constructive feedback on other's writing
- to establish protocols in LOTF writing groups
- to consider Golding's relationship to his characters and
- to discuss how and why characters act the way they do
Agenda:
1) Do Now
2) Peer edit Vignette Part I in pairs/groups of three
3) Review the LOTF group essay assignment
4) Create writing groups and establish protocols (writing manual)
5) Brainstorm the characters in the novel
6) Select one character from the novel to write the paper on
7) Summarizer: Writing a group essay: what are you excited/anxious about?
Homework: Complete the character graphic organizer
